<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/div>[vc_column_text]We Franciscan Sisters of Siessen were founded in 1854 as a subsidiary of the Franciscan Sisters of Dillingen. From this small beginning, a Congregation grew that today has Provinces in Germany, South Africa and Brazil and works in many different ways to ensure that God’s kingdom can be felt and experienced more and more in our world.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1\/4″]

Congregational Leadership<\/a><\/h2>

If almost 300 women living on three continents in five countries want to form a Congregation and move into the future together, then the commitment and agility of each individual is required, and it needs a lot of Holy Spirit as well as a leadership to accompany this process.<\/p>\n

Generalate<\/a><\/h2>

The Generalate is the place where the threads of the Congregation come together. Its headquarters are at the house St. Angela in Siessen.<\/p>\n
