Taking the right path<\/h1>\n

In our Sisters’ locations, there are many neighborhoods that are drug hubs and where children and young people live on the streets.<\/p>\n

So they are not only easy prey for the drug dealers who want to exploit them as messengers. The danger of going off the rails yourself is great.<\/p>\n

The Sisters in Coroat\u00e1 \/ Maranh\u00e3o (in north-eastern Brazil) are involved in pastoral work with children and young people. Together with supporters, they offer various courses (music, handicrafts, sports, tutoring) to keep the children and young people off the streets, to motivate them to strive for goals in their lives and thus escape poverty.
