Franziska Nagel.<br \/>\nShe was our Superior General from 1908 until her death in 1924 and led the community through the difficult times of the First World War and the upheavals that followed.<br \/>\nShe was a capable woman, with a passionate heart for our educational mission and she was a mystic.<br \/>\nMany venerate her as a saint, even though she was never officially canonized.<br \/>\nShe has come closer to us again in these days and has awakened our gratitude for the work of God in us and among us.    <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On July 4, we commemorated our third Superior General, Mother M.
