M. Franziska Nagel 100. anniversary of death

On July 4, we commemorated our third Superior General, Mother M. Franziska Nagel.
She was our Superior General from 1908 until her death in 1924 and led the community through the difficult times of the First World War and the upheavals that followed.
She was a capable woman, with a passionate heart for our educational mission and she was a mystic.
Many venerate her as a saint, even though she was never officially canonized.
She has come closer to us again in these days and has awakened our gratitude for the work of God in us and among us.
