The focus of the 2026–2032 term will be on deepening our charism, which we reformulated at the 2026 General Chapter:
“In fraternity, simplicity and joy, we live the Gospel in the spirit of St Francis and St Clare.”
Our charism finds its expression in a life that continually realigns itself with the Gospel: realigns itself with the Gospel:
- In fraternity – in the way we relate to one another and to creation;
- In simplicity – in our attitude, our way of life and our willingness to share and to move forward;
- In joy – out of the certainty that we are loved by God and called to life in all its abundance;
- In the spirit of St Francis and St Clare – the concrete following of the Gospel, in our union with Christ, with people and with the whole of creation.
This way, the charism remains a living gift: it is not merely formulated but unfolds anew time and again in our shared life and in our mission.
