On the death of Pope Francis

Together with the entire Catholic Church, we Franciscan Sisters of Siessen mourn the loss of a great Pope. He will always be remembered for his commitment to the poor and disenfranchised, especially for migrants, and his struggle for peace for the whole world. His commitment to a synodal, non-clerical church has also brought about lasting change. May God reward him for his efforts and may he give his church a good new pope.
