Regina Pacis Centre
The Regina Pacis (Queen of Peace) Retreat Centre is located in Assisi Mission very rural, about 30 km away from the northern border with the Kingdom of Lesotho.
Apart from the Centre, the mission includes a village with about 120 inhabitants, a farm, a primary farm school and a mobile clinic. Not far from the Centre is the South African Provincial House of us Franciscan Sisters of Siessen.
The hunger for education and a perspective is great. The Regina Pacis Retreat Centre offers days of reflection, various educational activities, courses for married couples, workshops for farmers and for student organizations, and hosts school classes (HIV/AIDS awareness, drugs, early pregnancy…).
In various bungalows it is also possible to simply spend a vacation in a beautiful landscape that makes it easy to relax.
The Centre relies on donations to provide the various services and maintain the building.
At the same time, this project description is meant to be an offer for you to find a nice yet affordable accommodation when you embark on your trip to South Africa.
