Sr Leonarda from the South African Province introduced the topic of culture and interculturality on January 2. If at the beginning of the process it is about recognizing and overcoming prejudices, it is then about shaping the cooperation in such a way that the best of each culture comes to the fore. This process is not linear. Ultimately, we are trying to develop a common culture of Franciscan religious life despite all our differences.
In the afternoon, the topic was then explored in a playful way, with songs and games from the different cultures.
