To compensate for the environmental impact of our flights, we supported a project in our South African province today and planted bushes around the medicinal herb field as protection against wind erosion and hungry sheep. The project also includes some fruit trees which will be planted at a later date.
After the planting, we prayed the evening prayer at the herb field. The Laudato Si group of the Congregation organized it as a celebration of the anniversary of St. Francis’ Canticle of the Sun.
