Mpho becomes Sr. M. Patricia …

Today in South Africa, we celebrated Mpho’s religious profession. From now on, she will go by the religious name Sr. M. Patricia.

In a moving ceremony, her mother symbolically entrusted her to the Congregation by washing her feet. After the investiture, Mpho returned her lay clothes to her family—just as St. Francis did.

We wish Sr. M. Patricia God’s abundant blessings, much joy, and strength on her journey as a Franciscan of Sießen!
