Work on our life order

We have been revising our life order for several years. As part of the structural changes to the Congregation, we have revised the legal section. The General Chapter 2020 then gave the mandate to also revise the Spiritual Part and to do so in a narrative process.

After the sisters had told each other in small groups what is important to them in our lives, an editorial team drew up a text proposal from the group results. This was sent to all sisters in February 2024.

Since then, we have continued to work on this text at reflection days, in working groups at local and international level and through personal reflection. At the turn of the year 2024/2025, the sisters who have not been perpetually professed for more than 10 years or are not yet 50 years old will meet in South Africa to work intensively on the proposals. Everything will then be revised again and the extraordinary general chapter will approve the text in summer 2025.

We are walking a very exciting path and are grateful for every prayerful support.
